Quick-ish explanation of who I am since I'm new to Bluesky!My name is Cael, I'm a 22 year old white Canadian. I identify as queer on all fronts. I like art, gay lil characters and writing angst of said characters lol.Masking is community care! Free Palestine, Sudan, etc; but more thn that, an end to capitalism and imperialism is necessary. Games I like, either used to play or currently playing:
Minecraft (100% will always be top 1 to me)
Genshin (it takes too much space now so I stopped playing during Sumaru, was AR 56 - ASIA)
Sims, but specifically the apple store Free Play version. (if you have obsessed over this game PLEASE TALK TO ME ABOUT IT I DON'T KNOW ANYONE ELSE)
Marvel Lego. (haven't played in forever but this shit slap)
I'm not playing a lot at the moment because I don't have a PC to run most games on </3
My Favourite Movies
I love watching movies, but my taste are both all over the place and mostly in Animations.
My current (and probably always) favourites on Letterbox lmao. I will stand by those movies through thick and thin frl.
Other than those, I have a few series of movies (?) I really enjoy.
I deeply love Barbie Movies (but not the more recents ones, althought I do like the vlogs thing but I don't watch them often). My favourites gotta be: The 3 Musketeers, Diamond Castle, and either Princess & the Popstar or Chrismast Carols. I love the Fairytopia series too but I watched it way too many times when I was a kid lol. I also really enjoyed the one with Margot Robbie, though I wish we had seen less of the Kens lol.
I'm the biggest fan of the Studio Ghibli Movies (althought mostly the Miyazaki ones) as I grew up on them. My favourite being Princess Mononoke, Kiki, Moving Castle (although very cliché now I fear lol), and Nausicaa! (with a special mention to Ponyo and Castle in the sky for having my favourite visuals I think).In the same vibe, like everyone thinks it's a Ghibli movie, one of my favourite movie of all time is Wolf Children.
I also like many of Dreamworks Animation movies, with a special mention to Spirit, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung-Fu Panda (but not the last one), the Puss-in-Boots movies (the Shreck movies are fine but not Wow for me), Rise of the Gardien, and of course, MEGAMIND. Their absolute masterpiece. (we don't talk about the attrocity they produced relating to that in the last years)In the same vein, Disney movies are alright, I loved Moana and Encanto, as well as the whole Coco universe, but most of the time I wouldn't necessarely recommend the movies. Other than Frozen 2. I do not know why this movie had this power on me but I went to watch it in cinemas 3 TIMES. Honestly, Elsa is so hot in this and also the songs and the graphics absolutely SLAPS.

Other than animation, my favorite genre is Rom-Coms & Historicals.I USED to be super into the MCU but they've been dragging lately and managed to kill a like 10 years going hyperfixation, so that's kind of crazy. I did love The Marvels tho idc what everybody say, and also Miss Marvel was super good!I'm currently trying to watch all the older Jane Austin adaptations, but still to this day Sense & Sensibility 1995 is my favourite, althought very very closely followed by Pride & Prejudice 2005 and Emma 2020 (one of the only recent adaptation i liked). AN ABSOLUTE moment of appreciation for Clueless however, definitely one of my fav adaptation of Emma lol.Rom-com wise, I have a few favs that I rotate around often, but also I got into a trance a few years ago and tried to watch as many as possible and rate them lol.

I used to be reallyyy into animes & manga, but it's less intense now. I watch some from time to time, and I've been restarting Fairy Tail to catch up with the ending (finally) lol.My favourite of the year gotta be A Sign of Affection tho. IT WAS SO GOOD. The art and the story ah! Would never recommand this anime enough, I really hope we get a second season.It definitely made it to my all times favourite with:

Miraculous: Thomas Astruc kys. THE POTENTIAL THIS SHOWS HAS. AHHHHHHH. God. If I see him self insert in another fucking episode to help fucking Marinette again I think I'll combust on the spot.
What it could have been guys, what it could have been... just make an older version when they're at Uni instead and there's an actual political aspect PLEASE.
Voltron Reboot: Now, if you know the lore, you understand. If you don't, I have war PTSD of starting the Voltron Reboot when it first aired in 2016. It has forever changed my brain chemistry, and I will never be the same. I hate Dreamworks for this specifically. ANyway, I was there for it all, even did cosplay. I will take my hatred for this show to my GRAVE. It can only die when I have my last breath. To this day, when I see blue and red things next to each others, my breath stop. (also idk why there's a Voltron revival, and also why the official Voltron page keep joking about Klance again im gonna kms /j)
Harry Potter: yes okay I'm including Harry Potter here but just because I wanna complain about how SHIT Joanne is at world and character building again. GOD. Girl just pick up a fucking calculater, like do the BARE MINIMUM. Because what do YOU MEAN. Anyway I will have a GAY party when Joanne kick the curb and you're all invited.
